01Who we are
California Fractional HR ("we," "us") provides fractional HR and compliance advisory services to California employers. This policy covers calfractionalhr.com and the information collected through it. Questions about anything here: connect@calfractionalhr.com.
02What we collect, and where
- The request and contact forms — name, company, work email, California headcount range, what brought you here, how you heard about us, and anything you write in the message field.
- Booking a call — the name, email address, and appointment details you enter in the Google Calendar scheduler on our booking page.
- The client audit workspace — for active engagements only, reached by a private link: intake answers, the names and roles of the people who provide them, and the documents your company uploads.
- Ordinary server logs — our hosting provider records standard technical data (IP address, browser type, pages requested) as every web host does.
We collect nothing else. There are no advertising trackers, no analytics scripts, and no third-party cookies on this site. The client workspace uses your browser's local storage to remember your name and place between visits — that stays on your device.
03What we use it for
To reply to you, to scope and deliver the work you ask about, and to run the resulting engagement. That's the whole list. We do not sell or rent personal information, we do not use it for third-party advertising, and we do not share it except with the service providers below, or where the law requires.
04The service providers behind the site
- Netlify hosts the site and processes form submissions.
- Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar, and Apps Script) carries our email, stores engagement records, and runs the booking scheduler and the client workspace.
- Google Fonts serves the typefaces on these pages; loading them transmits your IP address to Google, as any font or image request transmits it to the serving host.
Each processes data on our behalf under its own security and privacy commitments. Client engagement records live in our Google Drive and are treated as confidential client files.
05Tracking, and "Do Not Track"
We do not track visitors over time or across third-party websites, and no other parties collect personal information through this site. Because there is no tracking to switch off, the site does not respond differently to browser "Do Not Track" signals — there is nothing for the signal to disable.
06Seeing, correcting, or removing your information
Email connect@calfractionalhr.com and we'll tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it — subject to records we're required to keep for an active or concluded engagement. Client workspace answers can also be corrected directly in the workspace at any time; corrections are kept as dated amendments.
07Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, the new version is posted on this page with a new effective date. Material changes to how we handle information already collected would be flagged prominently here before they take effect.
